What an amazing day at The Invercarse on Saturday for Rebecca & Matthew’s wedding!!
Such a lovely couple who put SO much effort into making the day special not only for them but for their family & friends too. Everything was planned to perfection and Rebecca’s choice of colours, decor & outfits looked beautiful together. The bride & groom also have some very talented friends who made the bridal party gifts, balloons and even a personalised blackboard photo backdrop, everything had their own personal stamp on it which made it that bit more special.
Their four nieces were flower girls and they had a ball. It was like Christmas morning when they got their flower girl presents and they were so excited.
The whole day was very emotional, Rebecca, her Mum & Dad were all in tears when she was given a special wedding bouquet charm for her Pandora bracelet then again when her Dad saw her for the first time in her dress. Martin looked so proud and Pat managed to stop for a second to take it all in in-between her amazing wedding coordinating skills, she barely stopped all day & looked after everyone so well, including me, thank you Pat!!
The ceremony was another tear filled part of the day with the bridesmaids walking down the aisle in tears but Orlaith’s running around and making her Auntie Rebecca & Uncle Matthew smell her bouquet mid ceremony soon had everyone laughing again.
Rebecca had her heart set on newlyweds shots at Camperdown but unfortunately the wedding fell on the same weekend as the Flower & Food Festival so we opted for Baxter Park and pretty much had the whole park to ourselves. Matthew’s sister Jordan came to help lay out the dress perfectly and her veil throwing skills – wow!! I need you as my Saturday girl Jordan!! 😉 🙂
Back to The Invercarse for four speeches – groom, best man and both Dads. Ewan the best man had made a booklet with lots of old & embarrassing photos of Matthew & I even got a special mention in the groom’s speech…. he congratulated Rebecca on arranging everything, the venue, the outfits, the photographer Angela who was “doing his t*ts in” haha!! I think (hope) he was joking!!
The band at the reception was Velvet Noir and they were brilliant, the dance floor was full all night.
Another amazing wedding done & dusted!! Rebecca & Matthew you have been amazing to work with & I wish you a long & very happy future together. And I know you don’t like having your photo taken Matthew but I hope you feel these were worth me “doing your t*ts in for” 🙂 🙂 Thank you for having me and I hope you have an amazing honeymoon!!
Here are your previews…. enjoy!! xx
