Hospitalfield House, Arbroath was the venue for Adele & Lewis’ wedding on Friday & what a beautiful venue they chose.
Adele arrived with her Dad & sister Charlie who was bridesmaid & they were piped down the aisle by Andrew Russell – he’s only 12, he did a fantastic job, if you’re looking for a piper I have his agent’s/Mum’s number!! 🙂 🙂
We were spoilt for choice indoors and outdoors for backdrops which was handy seen as the heavens opened right after their lovely outdoor ceremony by Rev. Dolly Purnell.
Hilarious speeches round the table in the picture gallery & everything from Adele & Charlie’s bouquets (using handpicked flowers from the Hospitalfield gardens), their very own Beano, the caravan bar & their vegetarian wedding breakfast was so beautifully done.
Once again a lovely bunch of guests and just a brilliant day from start to finish. A lot of my wedding clients this year have been old friends’ & it’s lovely to get to see them on one of the happiest days of their lives, it doesn’t even feel like work!! I used to live across the road from Adele & remember her as a wee girl skipping up and down the street waving to everyone who passed by, she’s always been so cheery & she certainly was yesterday marrying Lewis. Thanks again for asking me to capture your special day.
And if anyone is wondering why the photos are a bit higgledy piggledy & why they cut the cake twice…. we did a mock cake cutting before I was meant to leave at 5pm but Adele asked if I could stay until the first dance!! Of course I said yes & it was lovely to be able to capture even more of the day for them.
Also a big thank you to Rio of Hospitalfield House for all her help. A lovely lady who was never far away when any of us needed anything.
Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Macmillan, I hope you love your previews, lots more to come in due course….
