Last wedding of the year but my first at Harris Academy!!
Stacey & William’s wedding last Saturday was amazing from start to finish!!
When they told me they were getting married at Harris Academy I was baffled – how can you get married in a school!? Great choice of venue though, brilliant light (always a help rather than a hindrance), lots of space for their army of family & friends and pretty much a blank canvas so Stacey & William were able to decorate it to their own unique style, everything looked great. Big thank you to Master Of Ceremonies Peter Menzies!!
They donated the proceeds of their bar & casino tables to two local charities, Deaf Links & Help For Kids – £650 to each charity!!
I met all the ladies early afternoon whilst they were being made up by Hair By Ash & Make-Up By Becky!! Stacey & her daughter Grace’s dresses were designed by David Blaney from La Mode Design Studios & he was even there on the morning to make sure everything was perfect. The beautiful bouquets by Gina Turnbull were made using pages from the Harry Potter books, pumpkin carving by Graham Johnson & their amazing cake was made by Piece Of Cake.
Stacey & the girls arrived in a Hummer from Dundee Limousines just as the heavens opened!! Love the shot of little Grace being whisked out of the Hummer by her own chauffeur 🙂 🙂
Their ceremony by registrar Jayne Allan included a hand fasting with the help of little Grace & one of the bridesmaids Jemma.
It was absolutely FREEZING so we didn’t get long outside for photos but we caught the sunset then ran back in for the speeches & the party!!
First time working with Chris Mordente videographer.
A brilliant party upstairs for the big ones and a bouncy castle supplied by Brian & Carolynn Low & soft play downstairs from Applehill Soft Play for the wee ones!!
Well done Mr & Mrs Wilkie, what a day!! Congratulations again!!
Here’s a few to keep you going till the rest are finished.
Another year of wonderful weddings, looking forward to the next!!
